In addition to denying having any issues with Ross, the "Snowman" said there would be no adventages to sparking the beef with his labelmate...
"It's not a dis," Jeezy said in an interview. "First of all, I'm not gonna get nothing out of dissing that guy. That's one. What am I gonna get out of dissing him? I think sometimes people can read into things too deep. They trippin', man. They crazy out there. Basically, if homie takes that as a dis, he's insecure...Subliminals, for what? ... What's understood ain't gotta be said. I didn't think people would take the record like that. I did it like I would have any Shawty Lo record, any Rocko record, whoever. I got on [Ross' beat] and did it like how I do it, the best way I know how. I don't know if because the BMF situation is for real for me that everybody is like, 'Ooh. Oh, sh--.' Twitter is a muthaf---a, by the way." (MTV)
Released today, Jeezy's "Death Before Dishonor (B.M.F. Remix)" has the following verse. "How you blowin' money fast? You don't know the crew / Are you part of the fam? Sh*t, I never knew / Y'all was supposed to make it hard, this is easy, h*e / "Pull up in that triple white," I think I'm Jeezy, hoe." When leaked to media today, Def Jam employees referred to the song as "the most controversial record of this year," although no formal confirmation of the diss has been made. Although Ross' name is never mentioned, many speculate that Jeezy is confronting his Def Jam label-mate.
Mannnnnnnn! I got some serious intel on this new "beef" with Young Jeezy and Rick Ross! Basically, people are alleging that the whole thing is a very simple fiasco constructed by the POWERS THAT BE. Now, news flash...people inside say its fabricated to create a nice buzz to sell records for both men. Also, this acts as a launch pad for Jeezy's new mixtape, source's say. Who knows, like I said before the last time Jeezy sent a shot towards Rick Ross, Def Jam put the kiBOSH on it. This time, they are saying Def Jam is going to let this go a bit to set Jeezy's album up better. And, on the flip side, they want to try to push Ross to platinum. Who knows? As long as we get some good music, I'm straight. Its not like this going to be a lyrical battle or anything. ( All Hip Hop )

After having to arrive early on the set of a recent movie he was filming to have his tattoos covered up, 50 realized that the process was becoming way too time consuming. To better accommodate things he had his most visible tattoos removed from his body.
"I took some of the tattoos off because on the movie set if we got a six o'clock call time, I have to be there two o'clock the night before", 50 said in a statement. "I gotta go through four hours of make up before we go ahead and play the role. So, I just took it off my arm. My right arm."
